Jessie Denton Hancock, 79 of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab in Morgantown, Ky. He was born in Monticello, Ky. on September 13, 1936 to William Leonard and Ruby Stinson Hancock. Jessie was a Farm Mechanic for many years and attended Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: William, Clyde, Paul and infant Bobby Hancock; 3 Sisters: Mary Cissell, Susie Quinn and infant Donna Hancock.

He is survived by 1 Brother, Robert Hancock of Florida; 1 Sister, Judy Morris of Louisville, Ky. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 2 pm with Bro. James Flener officiating. Burial will be in the Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 5 from 3pm until 8pm and Tuesday from 8 until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
