James Robert “Pete” Moore, age 72 of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away July 19, 2014. He was born in Louisville, Ky. on February 27, 1942, to the late James Walker and Lena Moore. He was reared by his late Aunt Elsie Pearl and Temple Martin of Logansport, Ky. He graduated from Butler County High and retired as a Chief Engineer from American Commercial Barge Lines. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Clark County Casting and Conservation Club. He was preceded in death by a son Gregory Allen Moore. He is survived by two sisters Rollia Knight and Patricia Wolfe; two children Robert Scott Moore and Rebecca Moore Doss; two grandchildren Michael Shane Doss and Zachary Freeman Moore.
A celebration of life will be held Friday July 25, 2014 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Salem Baptist Church in Morgantown, Ky.  Local arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel
