Irene White Butler, 72 of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. Irene was born May 24, 1941, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Estill White and Beulah Smith Fulkerson. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and retired from Dixie Cream Doughnuts. She was preceded in death by one brother Archie White and step father Chester "Chuck" Fulkerson.
Irene White Butler is survived by two sons Jack Butler and wife Joni of Bowling Green, Ky. and Larry Butler and wife Sabrina of Bowling Green, Ky.; two granddaughters Christen Butler of Bowling Green, Ky. and Donita Shannon of Bowling Green, Ky.; three grandsons Adam Butler and wife Casey of Morgantown, Ky., Josh Butler of Bowling Green, Ky. and Keith Butler of Bowling Green, Ky.; five great grandchildren Danielle Kelley of Bowling Green, Ky., Katelyn Givens of Bowling Green, Ky., Sally Butler of Morgantown, Ky., Dustin Shannon of Bowling Green, Ky., and Trenton Butler of Morgantown, Ky.; two sisters Sue Morris and husband Kenneth of Morgantown, Ky., and Shirley Daugherty and husband Ralph of Morgantown, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:30 am with Bro. Mike Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 4:30pm - 8:00pm and Monday from 8:00am until funeral time at 11:30am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
