Ingram Brothers LLC Signs Letter of Intent for 14 New Dual Fuel CNG Semi-trucks and Public Access CNG Fuel Station

Ingram Brothers announces today a Letter of Intent with Baker Electromotive, Inc. to build a public access CNG fuel station and acquire 14 new dual-fuel CNG trucks. By deploying this advanced technology for specialized freight hauling, Ingram Brothers intends to provide many environmental and economic benefits to their customers and the surrounding community.

Natural Gas is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon gas mixture historically encountered while drilling for crude oil. Current estimates place reserves in the United States at over a 100 year sustainable supply.
Just over a year ago Ingram Brothers began looking at CNG as a possible alternative fuel source. No infrastructure was in place for a local "fast fuel" delivery system. Additionally, dedicated CNG semi-trucks did not provide the required range or horsepower.  Baker’s recent strategic partnerships and developments in dual fuel CNG (DNG) truck systems, combined with the ability to deploy a suitable fast fuel station allows Ingram Brothers to take a serious look at CNG as an alternative fuel, and explore the possibilities of making a commitment toward a clean, domestic, alternative fuel source.

Developments:

“We have been involved in discussions recently with Morgantown Utilities looking for answers to some of the logistic problems associated with delivery of CNG as an alternative fleet fuel,” said Eric Ingram, Vice President of Ingram Brothers, LLC. “Wholesale natural gas suppliers are interested in supplying bulk natural gas via the City’s pipelines to a new CNG station in our area, with the goal of offering CNG pricing of less than $2.50 per Gasoline Gallon Equivalent.”

Questions and Answers:
Why is Ingram Brothers committed to the alternative fuels?
Ingram Brothers believes that there are five primary reasons for taking a close look at CNG:

1.    Cost Effective: CNG cost significantly less than diesel fuel.
2.    America's Independence: Converting just 25% of America's vehicles to natural gas reduces crude oil imports by $650 million per day.
3.    Clean: CO2 emissions from natural gas are 25% less than gasoline and 15% less than diesel.
4.    Abundant: North America has over 100 years of known supply of natural gas.
5.    Local jobs for our region.
What Ingram Brothers and the community can expect after the LOI (letter of intent)?
1.    Baker Electromotive or one of its strategic partners will offer a formal proposal that will include program financing: new truck and DNG system pricing and savings analysis.
2.    Baker’s team will work with Ingram Brothers to address any issues to finalize contract terms.
3.    In-depth engineering of site development, station design, and vehicle conversion.

Benefits to the Community:
1.    Ability to acquire CNG fuel for selected local and municipal vehicles.
2.    Lower annual fuel costs. We anticipate the fuel price to be around $2.50 per GGE.
3.    Lower emissions.
4.    Economic Development.
