There is no minimum age, but performers must be able to sing or play the National Anthem as it was meant to be played, in a timely fashion, and with the proper respect the song commands. If auditioning with a musical instrument, musicians must provide the instrument. All vocalists must be able to perform the song a cappella; track music will not be allowed for auditions or game performances. If chosen to sing or play before a Hot Rods game, performers will be notified of their scheduled game at least one month prior to the date.
