Tuesday, Sept 28 was celebration day at Hanson VA Center.

Heart to Heart Publishing,Inc was honoring Author Lynn Kendrick, 84 years young and Artist Jeannie Kittinger. Mrs. Kendrick's son is a patient at the VA center. He was happy to see his mother enjoy a grand time with her new book and the signing of, Jack's Tales.

This is a true story about a little donkey from the Western Kentucky coal fields when she was a child. Her special friend for 29 years. She was born and raised in KY, yet traveled the world with her military husband before settling in IL.

Tommy Wood from Butler County endorsed her work and surprised the author with a visit.
