Harold “Bud” Dewayne Cook

Harold “Bud” Dewayne Cook, age 70 of Leitchfield, Kentucky, passed away Monday December 3, 2012. He was born January 27, 1942 in Ready, Kentucky to Lillie and Ambrose Cook. He worked in the lumber business. He was a dedicated minister at the Harvest Time Apostolic Church in Bee Springs, Kentucky and the Unity Pentecostal Church in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his Father: Ambrose Cook, his Mother: Lillie Cook, a Sister: Faustine Mudd and a Son-In-Law: John Byerline

Survivors Include: Wife: Vadie Cook of Leitchfield, Kentucky Two Daughters: Brenda Byerline of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Sandy Ralph (Husband Melvin) of Morgantown, Kentucky. Three Sons: Darrell Cook (Wife Phyllis) of Leitchfield, Kentucky, William Cook (Wife Carrie) of Franklin, Tennessee, and Wendell Cook (Wife Shannon) of Sellersburg, Indiana. Four Grandsons: Jeff Byerline, Tyler Cook, Kaleb Cook, and Tanner Cook Four Granddaughters: Misty Weedman, Kelly Daughtery, Shayna Cook, and Sophie Cook. Three Great Grandchildren: Kaylei Weedman, AJ Byerline, and Peyton Weedman and One Sister: Velma Jean Allen of Hutchinson, Kansas

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (December 6, 2012) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Wendell Cook, Billy Hack and Lyndon Robinson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Raymer Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
