Twelve students from the Great Onyx Job Corp, along with their teacher Timmy Basham, were welcomed to the Reedyville Rural Development Club on October 29, 2014.  The students were there as a training/educational program to replace and repair pipes and drains in the community center.  The students are studying and working in the area of plumbing and used this experience to improve/increase their skills.  The Club was responsible for purchasing the necessary plumbing supplies and a dehumidifier which the students also permanently connected.
The ladies of the Reedyville Rural Development Club provided refreshments and a home cooked meal for the students.  This proved to be the highlight of the day for the students. 
As the Club is a non-profit organization there was no charge for the services provided by the Great Onyx Job Corp.  The members would like to express their appreciation for the services provided and look forward to the possibility of working with the organization on future projects.
