Goldie Marie Dockery, 92 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday November 18, 2015 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. Goldie was born on April 19, 1923 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Birch and Bessie Burden and wife of the late Ray Dockery. She was a member of Oak Ridge General Baptist Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son Lendel Dockery, one daughter Betty Dockery, one grandson Danny Dockery, daughter in law Thelma Dockery, four sisters and one brother.
Goldie Marie Dockery is survived by one daughter Edna Keown  (Kenny) of Morgantown, Ky.; one son Tommy Dockery (Debbie) of Morgantown, Ky.; five grandsons Glendol Dockery (Kathy) of Morgantown, Ky., Darin Dockery (Kathy) of Morgantown, Ky., Brandon Keown fiancé Lestley of Morgantown, Ky., Kendrick Keown  (Sarah) of Morgantown, Ky. and Myron Dockery (Natasha) of Morgantown, Ky.; three granddaughters Betty Hunt (Robert) of Morgantown, Ky., Tammy Dockery of Morgantown, Ky. and Angela Thacker (Barbie) of Morgantown, Ky.; 18 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday November 21, 2015 at 1:00pm with Bro. Jeff James officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday November 20, 2015 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
