Geraldine Holman Griffin, 84, of Prudenville, Michigan, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Griffin was born September 23, 1928, in Butler County, to the late James Clifton Holman and Edna Flewallen Holman. She was a member of Monticello Baptist Church. Mrs. Griffin was a Blueprint Operator and a Sewing Instructor for Sears & Roebuck. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Camilla Kay MacMunn.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Griffin of Michigan; 1 son Wayne Defauw and wife Mala of Virginia; 1 daughter Linda Lee Defauw of Sterling Heights, MI.; 2 sisters Anita Sue Cerilli of Clermont, Fl., Jean Gooden of Farmington Hills, MI; Several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, Friday, September 6, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Randy Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Monticello Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 6, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
