The Butler County Fiscal Court had a called meeting on Thursday, September 25 at the Butler County Courthouse to wrap up business for September.  Magistrates Stevie Givens, Johnny Tuck, Chad Tyree, and David Whittinghill were in attendance.

The court authorized County Road Foreman Timmy West to purchase needed equipment from the Kentucky Surplus Property Sale. On a motion by David Whittinghill and a second by Stevie Givens, the court approved a $10,000 spending limit.

The next item on the agenda was approval of a budget amendment to include $288,437 in the road fund from the state.  According to Judge-Executive David Fields, the money will be used to blacktop several roads in the county. The detailed budget amendment is attached below.

Transfers were approved and the court agreed to advertize for a part time employee for the Butler County Animal Shelter.
