Edith Henderson Arnold , 88, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Medical Center. Edith was born on Aug. 12, 1927 in Butler County, Ky. to the late Harvey and Annie Ruth Embry Henderson. She was a member of Barnett's Lick Missionary Baptist Church. Edith was a homemaker and loved to read, garden and sew. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Leonard Mitchell Sr. and second husband Ward Arnold; one son, Leonard Mitchell Jr. and one daughter Norma Jean Rutledge; four brothers, Chester, Raymond, Leamon and Jessie Henderson.

She is survived by three grandchildren John Mitchell and wife Jody of IL, Catherine Mitchell of IL and Jennifer Anne Rutledge of TX; four grandchildren, Cody and Jadyn Mitchell of IL and Ashley and Julie Branz of IL; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11 am. with Bro. Chad Bewley officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
