Dottie D. Rives Jones, 76 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. Dottie was born June 13, 1938 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Raymond and Lorine Ewing Rives. She was a member of Green River Missionary Baptist Church, Butler County Homemakers and retired from Humana Health Services.
Dottie D. Rives Jones is survived by her son Bradford Jones and wife Lora of Maryland; one granddaughter Autumn Jones of Maryland; one sister Shirley Annis and husband Gregory of Hartford Ky.; one brother Chester H. Rives and wife Arlene of Attica, Michigan; two nephews Dion and Jason Cardwell both of Morgantown, Ky. and one great niece Jerrica Cockrell of Morgantown, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at the Green River Missionary Baptist Church Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 2:00pm with Bro. Kelley Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Green River Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, September 15, 2014 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 10:00 am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Green River Missionary Baptist Church.
