Denver E. Beliles, 92, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at his  residence.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on March 19, 1923 to the late Lloyd and Hallie McCoy Beliles. He was retired from Chrysler Automotive where he worked as a welder and was also a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a US Army Veteran, having served in WWII, where he was a recipient of Four Bronze Stars, a Victory Medal and a Purple Heart.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Hallie Beliles; wife, Ruby Beliles; two brothers, Wayne and Denzil Beliles and one sister, Lorell Mayhew.

He is survived by one brother, Thel Beliles and wife Ovie of Smiths Grove; two sisters, Evanell McCoy of Louisville and Marcell Reynolds of Owensboro and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, July 19 at 2:30 pm with Bro. Roger Skipworth officiating.  Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery where  Military Honors will be presented.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 18  from 4-8 pm and Sunday 12 noon until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
