Crews are out in force treating the roads

Crews in Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Todd and Warren Counties have been and are currently out treating the roads. Butler and Edmonson County have been the hardest hit so far. There are reports of multiple crashes on the Natcher Parkway in the northern part of Warren County and into Butler County. Most of Warren County roads just have wet conditions at this time. Roads in the northern part of Warren County may be slick.

Motorists need to be advise of slick conditions in these areas and use caution while traveling. Other county crews are prepared to start treating the roads should the need arise. Crews will continue to treat and plow throughout the night until it is no longer necessary.

Motorists should also be aware further north in Hart and Hardin Counties conditions are worse and there have been reports of crashes on Interstate 65 in those areas. Please checkout 511.ky.gov or the free KY511 APP for your smartphones to check road conditions and travel information.
