CLEAN YOUR CITY DAYS April 24-26th

The City of Morgantown encourages citizens to begin spring cleaning early. Let’s clean our city inside and out.

Now is the time to clean the lawns and porches. Clear the house furniture from porches. House furniture encourages rodents, roaches, and even snakes, and mold.

Couches, chairs, mattresses, TV’s, appliances, and other furniture will be picked up on the above dates only. The City will provide pick-up if the items are brought to the front of the lawn (not on sidewalks).
Small limbs and bagged leaves will also be picked up by the maintenance crew.

We encourage those who are able and have the means of taking their trash to the dumpsters to do so. Dumpsters will be located at the County Barn on Boat Factory Road on the above dates. This area is under surveillance. Absolutely no dumpster diving. Dumpsters will be available from 7:OOAM-4:OOPM.

***NO TIRES, PAINT, OR ROOFING WILL BE PICKED UP OR PUT IN DUMPSTERS.
