Jim Green

“The new Chamber website is now up,” announced Morgantown-Butler County Chamber of Commerce President James Runion as he greeted members and guests to the March luncheon Thursday. The meal was sponsored by Heritage Animal Hospital, Morgantown Utilities, State Farm Insurance, Blackhawk Composites, McDonalds and WRECC. Preparing the  meal were chamber secretaries Donna Morris and Annette Jared assisted in serving by Darla and Crissy from the Butler County Rescue Squad. Those who helped were given warm applause. Desserts were donated by Country Oven Bakery.

Motivational speaker Jim Green, with Building Bridges 4 Life, spoke on the topic, “The Power of Serving Others.” Green presented examples of people he has admired for their servant’s heart. Those five listed were Don Jenkins, Gene Sutton, Doctor Wan, Joyce Hammers and Charles Black.

“There’s hundreds of others I could have shared with you. I wanted to share these five because they have meant so much to me and you,” exclaimed Green.

The new Chamber website is available at  http://morgantowncoc.com.
