Bulah May Embry Turner, 84 of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at the Henderson Nursing and Rehab in Henderson, Kentucky. Bulah was born November 7, 1929, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Dephew Ray Embry and Francis Minnie Belle Embry and wife of the late Ernest Wesley Turner. She was a member of the Old Decker Baptist Church a she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one daughter Rebecca Wilson and one son Matthew Turner.
Bulah May Embry Turner is survived by 3 daughters; Elaine Herring of Henderson, Ky., Virginia Phelps of Morgantown, Ky. and Evelyn Barre of Henderson, Ky.; 7 sons Ervin Turner of Caneyville, Ky., Hubert, Roger, Robert, Charles and Michael Turner all of Henderson, Ky. and Silas Turner of Huntsville, Ky.; 38 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 1:00pm with Bro. Larry Lacefield officiating. Burial will be in the Woodcock Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday from 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
