Bratcher's Auto Parts Now Open

A longtime Morgantown business is under new ownership, but remaining in their traditional location. B&M Auto Parts has been bought by Colleen Bratcher-Phelps and her brothers Chad and Richie Bratcher, and has been renamed Bratchers' Auto Parts, LLC. The store features Parts City Auto Parts.

Residents and store regulars have been watching recent improvements at the store, including extensive remodeling and restocking. One thing that won’t change is Bobby Moore as Manager. Moore is staying on to run the store, but a new face will be alongside Moore to help customers. Terry Hunt will work part time at the store as a counter salesman.

The Bratchers are excited about their newest business venture. Besides the parts store the Bratchers have owned and operated several businesses including Green River Flowers and More, and Bratcher’s Market and Video. Most recently Chad become a Bluegrass Cellular authorized agent. For the Bratchers business is in the blood. The family patriarch, the late Osco Bratcher, was a highly successful  self-made business man, and the children are carrying on the tradition.

Richie, Chad, and Colleen all say that Osco would be proud of their move into the parts business.

"We have always had an interest in collecting old cars, so opening a parts store is a good fit for us," said the Bratchers.
Bratcher Auto Parts, LLC will offer a full line of automobile parts and accessories, as well as parts for agricultural and other heavy equipment, fleet maintenance products, small engine parts and accessories, and will soon be offering custom made hydraulic hoses, and they’ll offer delivery to local shops.

The Bratchers are looking forward to serving their friends and neighbors in Butler County and will have a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting soon. The store is located right across from the Courthouse, next to Firehouse Pizza. The phone number will remain unchanged at 526-2643. Store hours are Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 8 to 12.
