Bears' Basketball hosts summer camp

Basketball fundamentals were being taught last week - June 22-24 - as the Butler County Bears' basketball team hosted their summer camp at the B.C.M.S. gym. The camp is in its third year and was attended by 44 players in grades pre-school through eighth.

The purpose of the camp is to teach young players the fundamentals of the game and to encourage them to play basketball in the future.
"We had a good turnout this year for camp and everything went well," said B.C.H.S. head coach Calvin Dockery. "I appreciate all the young players who came and my high school players who helped as coaches."
