Butler County High School held Bearfest Ceremonies on Friday night during the boy/girl doubleheader with Trinity. Bearfest Queen is Callie Cardwell, daughter of Tina and Donald Cardwell of Jetson. Bearfest King is Nolan Johnson, son of Michaelle and Dan Johnson of the South Side.
Representing the Freshmen Class:

Kasidy Graham daughter of Lori Graham of Logansport and Steve Graham of Davis Crossroads, and Dalton Rowans, son of Becky and Doug Rowans of Bowling Green.

Her grandparents are Donna and Mike Newland and Sharon and Tom White. Ace Russell Hankins, the four year old son of Abby and Russell Hankins of Bowling Green. He is the grandson of Angie and Gary Lee and Becky and Craig Hankins.

Returning to crown the 2016 Bearfest Queen and King was last year’s Queen Molly Sanders. Molly is the daughter of Aimee and Chris Sanders of Morgantown. King Jake Martin the son of Paula and Mark Martin of Morgantown was unable to attend.
