Four Butler County High School students have been recommended by faculty/staff members for October student of the month honors based on attendance, promptness to class, participation in class, grades or attitude.  These students are Lillien Hudson, James Hunter Phelps, Nolan Johnson and Kelsey Hughson.

Lillien Hudson is the 9th grade daughter of Melanie and Jessie Hudson.  Her extra-curricular activities include band and SUPA.  Her future plans are to attend college and become a history teacher.

James Hunter Phelps is the 10th grade son of Jackie Phelps.  He enjoys kung-fu and is a member of gamers club.  His future plans are to get a job in film directing.

Nolan Johnson is the 11th grade son of Dan and Michaelle Johnson.  His extra-curricular activities include football, cross country, track and participating in fantasy football.  His future plans are to attend college.

Kelsey Hughson is the 12th grade daughter of Chris and Kelly Hughson.  Her extra-curricular activities include Pep club, Beta, FCCLA, prayer group and playing tennis for BCHS.  Her future plans are to attend WKU and major in business.
