Barbara Keown Hatcher, 70 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday July 14, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Barbara was born on Monday March 5, 1945 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late William Vollie and Ruby West Keown and wife of the late Jerry J. Hatcher. She was a member of Wilson United Baptist Church in Caneyville, Ky. and retired from Kellwood. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson Austin Ryan Hope.
Barbara Keown Hatcher is survived by three sons Lindle Keown wife Noreta, Denzil Hope and Brian Hope wife Angie all of Morgantown, Ky.; two daughters Rhonda Henderson husband Kennie and Janine Dockery husband Mark all of Morgantown, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren;  one brother Vollie Doris Keown wife Alma Jean of Morgantown, Ky.; three sisters Lois Hopkins of Smith Grove, Ky., Zelma Dean Smith husband Preston of Bon Aire, Ky. and Novis Embry husband Ernie of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday July 17, 2015 Wilson United Baptist Church in Caneyville, Ky. with burial in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 16, 2015 from 12:00pm - 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Friday from 11:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Wilson United Baptist Church in Caneyville, Ky.
