3rd Annual Provo Cruise-In

Provo Rural Development, established 1957, held their 3rd Annual Parade and Cruise-In Saturday afternoon, October 10. The parade started at Monticello Baptist Church and made its way to the Provo Community Center.  The conditions were perfect for the parade, car show and all that was involved.  Lots of community members attended and had a great time.  Cars, trucks, tractors and even a gator were in the show. Holley Performance for Hot Rods sponsored the show.


People’s Choice Car award went to Dustin Wilson for his 1970 Chevrolet Camaro.

Favorite truck went to Pete Phelps for his 1930 Model A Ford. 

Jesse Greathouse and Connie Greathouse won for best float/gator. 

Best tractor went to Steve Layne for his International. 

Best Rat Rod trophy went to Kelly Givens.  Tony Wilson made the rat rod trophy.

Kid participation trophy went to Adrian Loy for his gourd octopus truck. 

Maggie Drake won Future Beauty Queen. 

Jessilyn Johnson, Logan Todd, Cadence Close and Ashlynn Todd won for best Float riders. 

Best bicycle went to rumble seat riders Camden Wilson and (not pictured)Chase Wilson. 

Jack Holman won scariest bicycle. Isaac Wilson won for his pumpkin bicycle.  Sophia Burns won the safety first award.

 

There was plenty of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, desserts and drinks for all in attendance.  Proceeds from the cruise-in benefit Butler County Cancer Assistance.  Yule Renfrow won the 50/50 drawing.
